Job Accommodation Network (JAN)

JAN, a free service of the Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy, is a toll-free information and referral service designed to increase the employability of people with disabilities by: 1) providing individualized worksite accommodations solutions, 2) providing technical assistance regarding the ADA and other disability related legislation, and 3) educating callers about self-employment options. In addition, JAN analyzes trends and statistical data related to the technical assistance it provides.

The Employer Assistance and Recruiting Network (EARN) is an initiative of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy. The DREDF, founded in 1979, is a leading national civil rights law and policy center directed by individuals with disabilities and parents who have children with disabilities. The mission of the DREDF is to advance the civil and human rights of people with disabilities through legal advocacy, training, education, and public policy and legislative development. The ADA Hotline is funded by the U. S. Department of Justice specifically to provide technical assistance on the ADA.
