According to their website, Think Beyond the Label (SM) is a partnership between health and human service and employment agencies with federal grants, coming together to build a national infrastructure and approach that connects employers with qualified candidates with disabilities. Put simply, their goal is to raise awareness that hiring people with disabilities makes good business sense. There are statewide tools and resources, success stories, and ways to “spread the word.” I’ve heard reports that they are also running a marketing campaign in select states.
