Lisa Jordan is a recognized expert in the field of disability
and workforce development. One of her strengths is her keen
ability to identify challenges and develop solutions for her
clients that are both practical and immediate. By including her
clients in the process and allowing opportunities to succeed up
front, Lisa believes this increases ownership over implementing
and sustaining long term change.
Lisa has an M.S. in Rehabilitation Psychology from the
University of Wisconsin – Madison and is a Certified
Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). She holds multiple
certifications in the workforce development field and is a certified Career Development Facilitator-Instructor (CDF-I), a curriculum
that contributes to the professional development and national
certification of workforce development professionals in 12 core
competency areas.
Ms. Jordan, through her work with the City of Los Angeles
was one of the principal developers
of the EmployABILITY Program, a multi-faceted, nationally
recognized staff capacity building program designed to build the
skills of workforce development staff in serving customers and
youth with disabilities. Currently, Lisa is developing an innovative training
program focused on the needs of Mature Workers for a local Workforce Investment
Board.
