  1. Some very good friends of our son were expecting their first child. Last summer, the mother’s water broke only 23 weeks into the pregnancy. Their daughter was delivered at 24 weeks, and weighed less than 2 lbs. This past Saturday, we visited her in the hospital, just before she came home, a beautiful, almost 8 lb. little girl. I am thankful this baby was able to get the care she needed to grow, so she could go home.
